Preliminary results of AD review on pipe fittings from S. Korea
On February 23, 1993, the US Department of Commerce (DOC) imposed an antidumping duty order on
stainless steel butt-weld
pipe fittings imported from South
Korea. Upon the request of Sungkwang Bend Company Ltd (SKBC), a South Korean producer/exporter of subject merchandise, the DOC, on March 23, 2005, initiated an administrative review of the antidumping duty order on
stainless steel butt-weld
pipe fittings imported from SKBC. The review covered the period February 1, 2004, through January 31, 2005.
The DOC preliminarily determined that during the period of review, sales of subject merchandise from South
Korea had not been made below normal value (NV) for SKBC. If the DOC adopts the preliminary results in its final results, the DOC will instruct Customs and Border Protection (CBS) not to assess antidumping duties based on the difference between constructed export price (CEP) and NV.
The weighted average dumping margin for the period February 1, 2004, through January 31, 2005, is as follows:
Producer Margin
Sungkwang Bend Company Ltd...................0.17 percent
Interested parties are requested to comment on the preliminary results.
