POSCO opens automotive sheet plant in Mexico

South Korean steel giant POSCO has started operating an automotive steel sheet processing plant in Mexico to increase its steel supplies to the automotive producers in the region. Located in Puebla near Mexico City, POSCO's new plant has been designed to process 170,000 tons of steel sheets per annum. Moreover, the plant is also capable of processing plates in various shapes.
