Peru’s iron ore production falls in February

In February this year, iron ore production in Peru amounted to 372,529 long tons (378,489 mt), decreasing 30.17 percent compared to the same month of the previous year and down 28.7 percent month on month, according to Peru's Energy and Mining Ministry.

In the first two months of the current year the country's total iron ore production was 894,972 long tons (909,292 mt), marking a fall of 16.65 percent compared to the previous year.
