Peru’s iron ore output up 10.2 percent in January-July

Iron ore production in Peru was up by 14.6 percent year on year in July this year, according to data issued by the country’s mines and energy ministry.

Peru produced 748,307 mt of the commodity in July, up from 652,772 mt in the same month of 2016.

In the first seven months of this year, Peruvian iron ore output totaled 5.33 million mt, increasing by 10.2 percent year on year.
