Pengfei Industrial puts coke oven No. 1 into operation

The new 5 million mt capacity coke oven No. 1 of Shanxi Province, China-based Pengfei Industrial, which was built by Tianjin-based state-owned MCC Tiangong Group Corp., was successfully put into operation on February 9, as announced by China Metallurgical Group Corporation (MCC) on February 11.

The coke oven No. 1 is one of two new coke ovens within the scope of second phase construction at Pengfei Industrial, with coke oven No. 2 currently under construction, while coke ovens Nos. 3 and 4 built in the first phase have already been put into operation.
