Panzhihua first H beam manufacturer in SW China
When Panzhihua Steel successfully rolled out H
beams from its new universal rolling mill on March 31, 2005, the company became the first steel maker in Southwestern
China to produce such a type of
construction steel.
H
beams are generally used in large steel structure
construction of factories and bridges, and only a few steel enterprises in
China can produce them. In order to further optimize product structure and improve its core competitiveness, Panzhihua Steel invested in a high-tech universal rolling
production line.
Construction of the universal
production line finished by the end of 2004, and the first 100-meter steel rail was produced successfully in January 2005. This particular feat made Panzhihua Steel the first in
China and third in the world to produce 100-meter steel rail of high strength, high flatness and high surface brightness by the strictest quality standards.
