Pangang’s BF No. 4 breaks daily and monthly pig iron output records in April

Pangang Group, a steelmaker based in the southwestern Chinese city of Panzhihua, has announced that in April its vanadium iron works No. 4 blast furnace achieved a record monthly pig iron output of 108,000 mt, equivalent to a record average daily pig iron output of 3,580mt.

The producer added that in the month in question output per shift at its blast furnace No. 4 was consistently above 1,100mt.
