Pangang commissions iron ore concentrate slurry pipeline

Sichuan-based Chinese steelmaker Pangang Group has announced that commissioning of the 100 km iron ore concentrate slurry pipeline from its Baima iron ore mine to Xichang, Sichuan has been completed. The pipeline was designed by US-based Pipeline System Incorporated (PSI).

Costing an investment of RMB 340 million ($53.97million), the designed annual capacity of the pipeline is 3 million mt of iron ore concentrate.
