Pangang Group Steel Vanadium & Titanium posts record pig iron output

In the current year up to June 23, Sichuan Province-based Chinese steelmaker Pangang Group Steel Vanadium & Titanium Co., Ltd produced 2.931 million mt of pig iron - an all-time record high for the time of year. Based on the company's pig iron output target of 5.85 million mt for the whole year of 2010, the steelmaker has achieved its H1 output target seven days ahead of schedule.  

Pangang Group Steel Vanadium & Titanium has continued to optimize its production indices, with the pig iron output and utilization rate of its furnace No. 4 breaking records in April and May and maintaining its good performance in June.
