Pakistan's iron and steel scrap imports up 10.73 percent in November

Pakistan's iron and steel scrap imports amounted to 308,252 mt in November this year, increasing by 27.8 percent compared to October and up 10.73 percent year on year, according to the data released by the Pakistan Federal Bureau of Statistics (PFBS). The value of these imports in November was $82.5 million, rising by 27.8 percent month on month and down 1.92 percent year on year.
 
Meanwhile, Pakistan's iron and steel imports in November amounted to 311,455 mt, up 8.7 percent on month-on-month basis and rising by 34.9 percent compared to the same month of the previous year. In November this year, the value of Pakistan's iron and steel imports was $193.8 million, increasing by 10.6 percent month on month and up 14 percent year on year.
