Pakistan starts AD duty probe for Chinese galvanized coils and sheets

Pakistan’s National Tariff Commission has announced that it has initiated an antidumping (AD) duty investigation against galvanized coil and sheet imports from China.
 
The investigation launched upon the complaint filed by the domestic producer International Steels Limited will cover the period between July 2014 and June 2015. The application alleges that Chinese galvanized coils and sheets have been exported to Pakistan at dumped prices and that the import of these products has caused and is threatening to cause material injury to the domestic industry.

The products subject to antidumping duty investigation currently fall under Customs Tariff Statistics Position Numbers 7210.4110, 7210.4190, 7210.4990, 7212.3010, 7212.3090, 7225.9200 and 7226.9900.
