Pakistan approves import of 302 more Indian items

The Pakistani government's Economic Coordination Committee has decided to allow imports of 302 new items from India, including various categories of machinery and equipment. In addition, the 302 new items Pakistan may import from India also include steel, iron ore and various chemical products. The Pakistani government had previously allowed imports of 773 items from India. With the latest increase, Pakistan's approval list for goods which may be imported from India has increased to 1,075 items.
