Finnish mining and metal manufacturing equipment provider Outotec has issued its financial results for the fourth quarter and full year of 2016.
In the fourth quarter, Outotec reported an operating loss of €53.5 million, compared to an operating loss of €30.6 million in the same quarter of the previous year. The company's sales revenues remained stable year on year at €305.4 million. Meanwhile, Outotec's order intake was €282.7 million in the given quarter, down 5.8 percent year on year.
In 2016, Outotec reported an operating loss of €67.7 million, compared to an operating loss of €12.3 million in the previous year, while the company's sales revenues decreased by 12 percent year on year to €1.06 billion. Meanwhile, Outotec's order intake was €1.01 billion in the given year, down 15 percent year on year.
For 2017, the company expects net sales of approximately €1.05-1.15 billion.
