OMK’s investments in production at VMZ exceed RUB 70 billion

Russian pipe producing company United Metallurgical Company (OMK) has stated that its investment in the development of large diameter (LD) pipe production at its Vyksa Steel Works subsidiary over the past decade has exceeded RUB 70 billion ($1.336 billion).

 "As a result, we have the only modern complex in the world which has united the capacities on the production of rolled products and large diameter pipes and inner and outer anticorrosion coating at one site," Vyksa Steel Works managing director Sergey Filippov said.
