OMK’s Almetyevsk Pipe Plant to expand production range

The Russian pipe producing company United Metallurgical Company (OMK) has announced that its Tatarstan-based subsidiary Almetyevsk Pipe Plant (ATZ) is to commence the production of a new type of pipe, of 133 mm in diameter and wall thickness of 4.0-6.0 mm, designed for heat and power engineering.

The commencement of production of the pipes in question is in line with the investment project directed towards the expansion of ATZ's range of products. Currently, ATZ manufactures 24 sizes of round pipes.
