North American rig counts, week ending December 10

According to the most recent report by Baker Hughes, the weekly US rotary rig count is up 10 from last week to 1723. This reflects a year-on-year increase of 562 rigs.

The Canadian rig count is up 33 from last week and is now at 482, representing a 128 year-over-year increase.

The US Offshore rig count is 23, unchanged from last week and down 15 year-over-year.
