North American rig counts, week ending August 20

According to the most recent report by Baker Hughes, the North American rotary rig count increased by 11 to 1,651 for the week ending August 20. This reflects a year-on-year increase of 666 rigs. Oklahoma noted the greatest increase in rig count from last week, increasing by 16 since Baker Hughes’ last report, from 126 to 142.
