In the January-April period of the current year, non-financial foreign direct investment (FDI) by Chinese companies totaled $26.37 billion, down 56.1 percent year on year, as announced by China's Ministry of Commerce (MOC).
In the given period $3.98 billion was invested by Chinese companies in the One Belt, One Road area, up 6.9 percent year on year, accounting for 15.1 percent of the total value of new foreign projects contracted by Chinese companies in the January-April period this year.
