NLMK’s long steel division ships 390,000 mt in Q1

According to a company statement, in the January-March period of this year the long steel division of Russian steelmaker Novolipetsk Steel (NLMK) shipped around 390,000 mt of steel products, 10 percent lower than in the same period last year. In particular, in the given period NLMK's long steel division shipped 300,000 mt of rebar, 25,000 mt of wire rod, and 62,000 mt of metalware.

90 percent of the shipped products were consumed in the domestic market. The main export destinations for the deliveries of NLMK's long steel division were CIS countries, Europe and the Middle East.
