NLMK’s long steel division ships 340,000 mt of rebar in Q1

According to a company statement, in the January-March period of this year the long steel division of Russian steelmaker Novolipetsk Steel (NLMK) shipped around 340,000 mt of rebar, up three percent year on year, including 339,400 mt to the domestic market, up 10 percent, while its shipments for export were down 97 percent to 600 mt, both year on year.

In April this year, NLMK plans to ship around 110,000 mt of rebar, down eight percent compared to March.
