NLMK to increase steel slab exports in April

Russian steelmaker NLMK has stated that in April this year it plans to increase slab exports by eight percent month on month to 580,000 mt.

In total, NLMK plans to produce up to 1.1 million mt of crude steel in April, up two percent compared to March, and 1.025 million mt of steel products, up four percent month on month.

In the January-March period of the current year, NLMK produced 2.9 million mt of crude steel, up 28.6 percent compared to the same period of last year, and 2.725 million mt of steel products, up 28 percent year on year.
