In May this year Russian steelmaker Novolipetsk Steel (NLMK) plans to increase production to 820,000-830,000 mt compared to 770,000 mt in April. The scheduled production volume corresponds to almost full capacity of the mill. In particular, the company plans to produce 430,000 mt of flat steel products in May, against 350,000 mt in April.

In April, heavy maintenance work was carried out at the processing equipment of the steelmaking complex, resulting in a decline in the main production activities.
