Russian steelmaker NLMK has reported that in the first nine months of the current year the volume of investments in the development its production facilities totaled $439 million.

This figure was down a third compared to the previous year due to the fact that several major projects were completed in 2013, including the construction of NLMK-Kaluga. Also, the depreciation of the ruble contributed to the reduction in investment.
