NLMK complies with international standards for auto industry

The Russian steelmaker Novolipetsk Steel (NLMK) has announced that it has successfully passed a supervision audit of the compliance of its quality management system with international standard ISO/TU 16949:2002 Quality Management Requirements in the application of ISO 9001:2000 in the automobile industry and by spare parts manufactures. The audit was carried out by the German certification agency TÜV CERT.

The audit confirmed the compliance of the technical and organization level of the company, as well as of all NLMK Quality Management System processes, with international requirements for the automotive industry.
