As reported by the German Federal Statistical Office (Destatis), in May this year the total price-adjusted value of new orders in the overall German construction industry increased by five percent month on month and by three percent compared to the same month last year.
In May this year, the total turnover in the overall German construction industry indicated a decrease of 4.4 percent compared to May 2014.
Meanwhile, in the first five months of this year, the total price-adjusted value of new orders in the overall German construction industry increased by 0.1 percent year on year. During the period in question, the total turnover in the overall German construction industry decreased by 2.9 percent compared to the same period of 2014.
