New orders in German construction down 4.3 percent in June from May

In June this year the total price-adjusted value of new orders in the overall German construction industry decreased by 4.3 percent month on month and remained stable compared to June 2014, as reported by the German Federal Statistical Office (Destatis).
 
In June this year, the total turnover in the overall German construction industry indicated a decrease of 6.8 percent year on year and a decline of 15.7 percent month on month.
 
Meanwhile, in the first half of this year, the total price-adjusted value of new orders in the overall German construction industry recorded no change on year-on-year basis. During the period in question, the total turnover in the overall German construction industry decreased by one percent year on year.
