New zinc/lead plant commissioned in Vietnam

Vietnam's Ha Giang province has a new zinc/lead plant now. Ta Pan Zinc-Lead Plant, located at Bac Me district of Ha Giang province has a refining capacity of 300 metric tons of ore per day. The plant will sell its products both in the domestic and international markets. The construction of the plant had begun in early 2004 with a total investment of more than $1 million, around $750,000 of which was from China.
