New rebar rolling mill comes into operation at Yolbulan Baştuğ

Turkish plantmaker CVS Technologies has announced that the new one million mt per year rebar mill supplied for Turkey-based Yolbulan Bastug Metalurji has been successfully commissioned.
 
The new rebar mill is designed to operate integrated with the company's existing meltshop located in Osmaniye, Turkey. With its hot charging system, energy costs are reduced to a minimum. With an output rate of up to 40 meters per second, it is planned to integrate the new rolling mill with a wire rod mill in the future.
 
The rolling mill, which was built in 16 months, will produce rebars with diameters ranging between eight mm and 63 mm.
