New plant to be built in Siberia

Russian East Siberian Company will begin the construction of Siberian Electrometallurgical plant in Bratsk, Siberia Federal Region, in 2007. The new plant will be specialized in the production of long products with a start planned capacity of 600,000 tons of billets a year. The construction is planned to be carried out for 2.5 years. The total investment in the project is equal to Euro 170 million.
