New orders in German construction down 5.1 percent in Oct from Sept

In October this year the total price-adjusted value of new orders in the overall German construction industry decreased by 5.1 percent month on month and increased by 2.6 compared to October 2014, as reported by the German Federal Statistical Office (Destatis).
 
In October this year, the total turnover in the overall German construction industry remained stable year on year and increased by five percent month on month.
 
Meanwhile, in the first ten months of this year, the total price-adjusted value of new orders in the overall German construction industry increased 1.2 percent on year-on-year basis. During the period in question, the total turnover in the overall German construction industry increased by 0.4 percent year on year.
