In August this year, the total price-adjusted value of new orders in the overall German construction industry decreased by 2.2 percent month on month and rose by 10.4 percent compared to August 2015, as announced by the German Federal Statistical Office (Destatis).
In August of the current year, the total turnover in the overall German construction industry rose by 12.4 percent year on year and increased by 1.2 percent month on month.
Meanwhile, in the first eight months of this year the total price-adjusted value of new orders in the overall German construction industry grew by 15 percent on year-on-year basis. In the period in question, the total turnover in the overall German construction industry increased by 7.6 percent year on year.
