New orders in German construction down 1.8 percent in June from May

In June this year, the total price-adjusted value of new orders in the overall German construction industry decreased by 1.8 percent month on month and rose by 18.3 percent compared to June 2015, as announced by the German Federal Statistical Office (Destatis).
 
In June of the current year, the total turnover in the overall German construction industry rose by 9.1 percent year on year and increased by 12.3 percent month on month.
 
Meanwhile, in the first half of this year the total price-adjusted value of new orders in the overall German construction industry grew by 16 percent on year-on-year basis. In the period in question, the total turnover in the overall German construction industry increased by 8.3 percent year on year.
