New orders in German construction down 0.5 percent in March from February

In March this year, the total price-adjusted value of new orders in the overall German construction industry decreased by 0.5 percent month on month and rose by 5.6 percent compared to March 2016, as announced by the German Federal Statistical Office (Destatis).
  
Meanwhile, in the first quarter of this year the total price-adjusted value of new orders in the overall German construction industry grew by 4.6 percent on year-on-year basis.
