New magnetite iron ore deposit discovered in China’s Anhui Province

The Bureau of Geology and Mineral Exploration of China's Anhui Province has announced that it has discovered a new magnetite iron ore deposit located between Tongling city-based Anqing copper mine and Yue Mountain Zhuchong, Huaining county.

According to the bureau's preliminary estimation, the deposit may be the largest magnetite iron ore deposit in Anhui, while it also contains gold, silver, molybdenum, cobalt and gallium. No figure has yet been issued for the magnetite iron ore reserves at the deposit.
