NBS: Private sector FAI in China up 6.9 percent in January-April

In the January-April period of the current year, private sector fixed asset investment (FAI) in China amounted to RMB 8.8053 trillion ($1.276 trillion), up 6.9 percent year on year, as announced by China's National Bureau of Statistics (NBS), with the year-on-year increase rate in question 0.8 percentage points lower compared to that recorded in the January-March period. The share of private sector fixed asset investment in total fixed asset investment (excluding rural households) in China in the January-April period this year was 61.0 percent.
