NBS: China’s fixed asset investments up 8.9 percent in Jan-Feb

In the January-February period of the current year, total fixed asset investments (excluding rural households) in China amounted to RMB 4.1378 trillion ($0.599 trillion), up 8.9 percent year on year, as announced by China's National Bureau of Statistics (NBS), with the year-on-year increase rate in question up 0.8 percentage points compared to the growth rate recorded in 2016. In February, fixed asset investments (excluding rural households) in China increased by 0.77 percent month on month.

In the January-February period of the current year, total fixed asset investment in China's mining sector amounted to RMB 40.7 billion ($5.89 billion), up 4.1 percent year on year, while fixed asset investment in China's manufacturing sector totaled RMB 1.216 trillion ($175.98 billion), up 4.3 percent year on year.
