Nanjing Steel sees net loss of RMB 618 million in 2013

Jiangsu Province-based Chinese steel producer Nanjing Iron and Steel (Nanjing Steel) has announced that it recorded a net loss of RMB 618 million in 2013. In addition, in the given year the company's total operating revenues amounted to RMB 26.823 billion, down 16.26 percent year on year. Nanjing Steel's total assets as of the end of 2013 were worth RMB 36.349 billion. 

Nanjing Steel is 40 percent-owned by Nanjing Iron and Steel Group and 60 percent-owned by Shanghai-headquartered Fosun International.
