Mongolia's largest producer and exporter of high-quality
coking coal, has announced that in the second quarter of the current year it plans to commission the first module of its new coal handling and preparation plant, with a processing capacity of five million mt per year.
Meanwhile, the second and third phases of the plant, each with annual capacities of five million mt, are expected to become operational in the second half of 2011 and at the end of 2012, respectively.
