MOC: Average finished steel price in China down 0.2 percent

On August 25, China's Ministry of Commerce (MOC) announced that during last week (August 17-23) the overall average finished steel price in China decreased by 0.2 percent week on week.
In the given week, average prices of galvanized sheet and H-beam in China decreased by 0.7 percent and 0.6 percent week on week, respectively.

In the same week, the average price of non-ferrous metals in China decreased by one percent compared to the previous week. The average price of nickel (Ni >= 99.2%) declined by 2.9 percent compared to the previous week.

In addition, in the week in question, the average price of coal in China remained basically stable week on week. In particular, the average prices of anthracite coal decreased by 0.1 percent, while the average prices of thermal coal and coking coal remained unchanged week on week.
