On July 28, China's Ministry of Commerce (MOC) announced that during last week (July 20-26) the overall average finished steel price in China decreased by 0.1 percent week on week.
In the given week, average prices of common hot rolled steel sheet and common cold rolled steel sheet in China declined by 0.9 percent and 0.8 percent week on week, respectively.
In the same week, the average price of non-ferrous metals in China decreased by 2.2 percent compared to the previous week. The average price of nickel (Ni >= 99.2%) declined by 1.9 percent compared to the previous week.
In addition, in the week in question, the average price of coal in China remained stable week on week. In particular, the average prices of anthracite coal, coking coal and thermal coal remained unchanged week on week.
