MOC: Average steel prices in China maintain downtrend

China's Ministry of Commerce (MOC) has announced that last week (August 27 to September 2) average steel prices in China indicated a decline of 0.9 percent week on week.

In particular, in the given week average prices of 3 mm hot rolled sheet,
6.5 mm diameter high-speed wire rod and 50 mm x 50 mm x 5 mm equal angles in China declined by 1.3 percent, 1.2 percent and one percent week on week, respectively.
