On July 15, China's Ministry of Commerce (MOC) announced that during last week (July 7-13) the overall average finished steel price in China decreased by 0.1 percent compared to the previous week.
In the given week, the average prices of both high-speed wire rod and seamless pipe in China decreased by 0.3 percent week on week.
In the given week, the average price of non-ferrous metals in China moved down by 0.7 percent compared to the previous week. The average price of nickel (Ni >= 99.2%) declined by 2.2 percent week on week.
In addition, in the week in question, the average price of coal in China decreased by 1.3 percent week on week. The average prices of brown coal, bituminous coal and anthracite coal declined by 2.6 percent, 1.4 percent and 1.1 percent on week-on-week basis.
