China's Ministry of Commerce (MOC) has announced that during last week (March 20-26) the overall average finished steel price in China decreased by 0.4 percent week on week.
In the given week, average prices of high-speed wire rod, rebar and hot rolled strip in China declined by 0.5 percent, 0.4 percent and 0.6 percent week on week, respectively.
In the same week, the average price of non-ferrous metals in China decreased by 0.5 percent week on week. The average price of nickel (Ni > = 99.2%) moved down by 1.6 percent compared to the previous week.
In the week in question, the average price of coal in China remained stable week on week. In particular, the average prices of thermal coal moved up by 0.2 percent, while anthracite coal prices decreased by 0.4 percent, and coking coal prices remained unchanged, all week on week.
