Iranian state-owned flat steel producer Mobarakeh Steel recorded outputs of 1,391,592 mt of crude steel and 1,466,118 mt of hot rolled coil (HRC) in the first four months of the current Iranian year (started March 21 ), down 15 percent and up 31 percent year on year respectively - according to the Iranian Mines and Mining Industries Development and Renovation Organization (IMIDRO). .
Meanwhile, Saba Compact Strip Processing Plant, an affiliate of Mobarakeh, produced 222,968 mt of crude steel and 222, 684 mt of HRC in the given period, representing increases of 28 percent and 35 percent year on year respectively, also according to IMIDRO.
