MMZ to repair equipment in ESMS

Moldovan Metallurgical Plant (MMZ) has announced that during the 11-18 September period it will conduct a scheduled repair of the main equipment at its electro-steelmaking workshop (ESMS). The plant's ESMS consists of two EAFs and two concasters with an annual total capacity of 700,000 mt of steel.

In addition, at present MMZ is dynamically increasing its winter metal charge stocks. The current stocks of scrap at the mill amount to 92,000 mt.
