MMZ issues January operational results

Moldavian Metallurgical Plant (MMZ) has announced that in January this year it produced 6,419 mt of finished steel products, including 276 mt of bars and 6,143 mt of rods.
MMZ's deliveries in the first month of 2010 amounted to 11,120 mt, including 7,657 mt to non-CIS countries and 3,463 mt to CIS countries. The producer's deliveries of special grade steel products amounted to 2,160 mt during the month in question.
MMZ has an annual production capacity of 684,000 mt of crude steel and 500,000 mt of finished steel products.
