MMK's production in May

In May 2006, Magnitogorsk Iron and Steel Works (MMK) produced 120,000 tons of iron ore, up 36.25 percent, 906,000 tons of agglomerate, down 1.3 percent, 460,000 tons of coke, down 1 percent, 832,000 tons of pig iron, down 0.1 percent, and 1million tons of crude steel, up 0.3 percent compared to April 2006. During January-May 2006, MMK produced 561,000 of iron ore, up 97.4 percent, 4.5 million tons of agglomerate, up 3.7 percent, 2.3 million tons of coke, up 0.4 percent, 4.1 million tons of pig iron, up 6 percent, 4.9 million tons of crude steel, up 6.3 percent and 4.5 million tons of finished steel products, up 8 percent compared to the same period of last year.
