The Russian steel producer Magnitogorsk Iron and Steel Works (
MMK) has announced that it has installed more than 50 percent of the equipment for the first stage of its new cold rolling complex (mill 2000).
Accordingly, commissioning of the first stage of
MMK's mill 2000, which includes the cold rolling mill and pickling line, is scheduled for Metallurgists' Day in
Russia, which will be celebrated on July 17, 2011, while full-cycle

MMK to benefit from the growing market for high-strength steel types.
