MMK’s hot rolling mill 2000 sets all-time annual output record

Russian steel producer Magnitogorsk Iron and Steel Works (MMK) has announced that in 2015 it produced approximately 5.94 million mt of hot rolled products at its hot rolling mill 2000, achieving an annual production record for the second consecutive year since the mill opened in 1994.
 
Meanwhile, in June last year, the mill produced its 100 millionth mt of rolled products since the start of operations at the unit.

MMK's mill 2000 produces a full range of steel grades for various industries including pipes, construction, and machinery manufacturing.
