MMK's hot rolled product shipments down 14 percent in 2013

Russian steel producer Magnitogorsk Iron and Steel Works (MMK) has stated that in January this year it plans to ship around 488,000-490,000 mt of hot rolled steel products, up eight percent compared to December last year, including 296,000-297,000 mt for the domestic market and around 192,000-193,000 mt for export.

In the whole of 2013, MMK shipped around 5.6 million mt of hot rolled flat steel products, down 14 percent year on year.
